La Push Beach: The Real and the Fictional

La Push Beach, Forks, WA

La Push Beach is a real beach located in the town of Forks, Washington. However, the scenes in the "Twilight" movies that are set at La Push Beach were not actually filmed there. Instead, they were filmed at Cannon Beach in Oregon.

Cannon Beach, Oregon

Indian Beach

Specifically, the La Push Beach scenes in the "Twilight" movies were filmed at Indian Beach, which is located within Ecola State Park. Indian Beach is a stunning stretch of sandy beach with crashing waves and rugged cliffs. It's a popular spot for surfing, hiking, and beachcombing.

Recreations of La Push Beach

After the first "Twilight" movie was released, the Quileute reservation beach was recreated at Incinerator Rock State Natural Area, which is also located near Cannon Beach. This recreation was used for filming scenes in subsequent "Twilight" movies.
