Sacchi Warns Juventus About The Threat That Empoli Carries

Sacchi warns Juventus about Empoli threat

Juventus are in danger of being upset by Empoli, according to former AC Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi.

The Bianconeri travel to Tuscany on Saturday looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the Serie A season. However, Sacchi believes that Empoli, who have won two of their opening three matches, will pose a serious threat to Massimiliano Allegri's side.

"Empoli are a dangerous team," Sacchi told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "They play with a lot of intensity and they have some very good players."

"Juventus will have to be at their best to beat them. If they're not, they could be in for a surprise."

Sacchi's comments come after Empoli's impressive 2-0 win over Fiorentina last weekend. The Tuscans dominated the match from start to finish and fully deserved their victory.

Juventus, meanwhile, have been in somewhat less impressive form. They have won both of their opening matches but have looked far from convincing. Allegri's side labored to a 1-0 win over Sassuolo on Monday and were fortunate to beat Parma in their opening game.

Empoli will be looking to take advantage of Juventus's indifferent form. The Tuscans have a good record against the Bianconeri, having won three of their last five meetings.

Juventus will need to be wary of Empoli's attacking threat, the team have scored six goals in their opening three matches.

The main threats are likely to be Nedim Bajrami and Andreas Pinamonti bajrami has scored twice in his last three matches while Pinamonti has scored once in each of his last two games.

If Juventus are not careful, Empoli could cause them serious problems. The Bianconeri will need to be at their best to avoid an upset.
